While winter tends to be the roughest season in Medieval Dynasty, summer isn’t far behind.

The hot temperatures can drain your water and even start to impact your health.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you how to stay cool in Medieval Dynasty.

1. Invest in the Insensitive Skill

Skills are an important part of Medieval Dynasty in that they can make certain aspects of the game easier.

In the survival skill tree, you should put some skill points in the Insensitive skill.

It improves your temperature tolerance by 2 degrees for each point that you put into it.

The maximum is 6 degrees.

In some cases, investing some points into the skill might be all you need to make the scorching temperatures of summer more comfortable.

If you’re still suffering from the heat, however, you may need to try one of the other methods, too.

2. Buy Potions of Temperature

Much like surviving winter, drinking Potions of Temperature can make surviving summer easier.

Potions of Temperature last for 600 seconds, so you’ll need to buy quite a few to make it through an entire season.

Since the potion costs 60 coins each, this can be a pricey way to make it through the summer.

That said, you might find it helpful during particularly hot portions of the summer season.

You can also craft these in your own herbalist hut if you have the schema unlocked.

Potions of Temperature increase your temperature tolerance up to 4 degrees.

This won’t surpass the Insensitive skill, but it can add to it nicely.

Now, if you’re still suffering from heatstroke, then it might be time to change what you’re wearing.

3. Buy Summer-Friendly Clothes

Clothing is a great way to survive the heat in Medieval Dynasty because it provides a passive heat or cold protection while wearing it.

You’re also able to stack the protection percentages together by wearing different items of clothing.

Now, clothing can be expensive, so I’ve split up the best items into three different budgets.

For those who only have a few coins, you’ll want to get what is easily the best summer clothing item in the game–the flat straw hat.

The flat straw hat provides 17% heat protection and only costs 90 coins.

You can easily find that in some of the abandoned homes on the Oxbow map or by making some simple bags and selling them.

For those with a mid-tier budget, you might want to consider buying the short sleeve tunic.

It provides the most heat protection for a shirt item at 5%.

It costs 360 coin, so it’s miles above the flat straw hat.

The final item for those with a good amount of coin is the trousers with cuffs.

It offers 3% heat protection, which makes it the pair of pants with the highest protection, and costs a staggering 765 coins.

For most people, the flat straw hat can see the job done.

However, if you’re big into roleplaying, then you might want to consider buying the entire outfit.

Then you can have your own summer outfit just like your villagers.

Use the methods above to stay cool while making your village thrive.
