How To Unlock the Quarrymaster in Return to Moria

To get your hands on the quarrymaster, you’ll need to craft a different item first.

After crafting the first age pickaxe, the recipe for the quarrymaster will drop.

If you haven’t made the First Age Pickaxe yet, do so, and you’ll be able to make the quarrymaster afterward.

How To Craft the Quarrymaster in Return to Moria

You’ll need to have access to the Khuzdul forge or the Great Forge of Belegost in order to make the Quarrymaster in Return to Moria.

You can’t make it in your standard forge.

You’ll gain access to the Great Forge of Belegost after repairing the Great Drain Pipes in the Lower Deeps.

In either of the forges, you’ll need the following resources to make the Quarrymaster:

• 6 Steel Ingots
• 6 Silver Ingots
• 1 Black Diamond
• 8 Ubasam Wood

It’s a bit expensive, but you’ll want the Quarrymaster to make mining simple.

It can save a lot of time, allowing you to explore, build, and craft even more.

All the resources you can find in the Lower Deeps.

Black Diamonds, in particular, drop from the orcs and trolls that you fight in this section of the mines.

What Does the Quarrymaster Do in Return to Moria

The Quarrymaster is a Mastercraft Pickaxe.

This means you can’t carry it with other Mastercraft items, since you’re only allowed to carry one Mastercraft item at a time.

That said, making it and using the Quarrymaster is worth it if you plan on doing a lot of mining.

I like to pick it up when I’m in need of stocking up on ore.

It makes mining so much faster since it digs away large sections of a cave or ore vein at a time.

You can get a lot more done with the Quarrymaster in a few minutes than with any of the non-Masterwork pickaxes.

So, if you’re someone who does a lot of mining, then the Quarrymaster is worth adding to your arsenal.
