How Do You Unlock the Pal Essence Condenser

The Pal Essence Condenser is a type of ancient technology.

You’ll first need to reach level 14 to make its blueprint available to unlock.

You then need 2 Ancient Technology Points to buy the blueprint.

You can gain Ancient Technology Points by defeating bosses in dungeons and throughout the world.

When you’ve unlocked the technology, you can make it.

How To Make a Pal Essence Condenser

To make the Pal Essence Condenser, you’ll need a few resources.

You’ll find the condenser in the Pal section of the Build Menu.

You’ll need the following resources:

• 20 Paldium Fragments
• 20 Ingots
• 5 Ancient Civilization Parts

The hardest resource to farm for this particular item is the ancient civilization parts.

You’ll need to fight some bosses to make them drop.

If you’re still a beginner, I’d suggest going after Chillet.

He’s one of the first bosses that’s easily approachable by beginner Tamers.

When you have everything you need, make the condenser.

Keep in mind that it’s a large structure, so you may need to find some space for it.

What Does the Pal Condenser Do in Palworld

The Pal Essence Condenser allows you to use Pals of the same type to make one Pal stronger.

As an example, if you want a Direhowl to have greater health, attack, and defense stats, then you can use the condenser to improve it.

You do that by collecting a bunch of Direhowls and condensing them, then feeding that essence to your preferred Direhowl.

They gain a star for each level of condensation that it receives to a maximum of five stars.

Keep in mind that each level also requires a certain number of sacrificial Pals.

Take a look at how many Pals you need to improve a preferred Pal’s stats:

• 1 Star: 4 Pals
• 2 Stars: 16 Pals
• 3 Stars: 32 Pals
• 4 Stars: 64 Pals

So, in our Direhowl example, I’d need to catch and condense 32 Pals to level the Direhowl up to a three star Pal.

Besides improving stats, the Partner Skill also increases by 1 for each star you receive.

Since some Partner Skills are quite powerful, this is a great way to make some OP Pals.

To use the condenser, you’ll access its interface first.

Then select the Pal that you want to upgrade.

Every same Pal that you select afterward will be part of the condensing process.

They’ll disappear because you’re basically butchering them up in a blender for their essence.

It may seem brutal, but Palworld is a brutal place.
