Palworld allows you to have three bases in its default game mode.

It can be easy to just keep everything at one base, but you could be making the game harder for yourself.

In this survival guide, we’ll explain why you should split your workload between your different bases in Palworld.

1. Better and Easier Organization

Bases are busy places with all your Pals running around and working.

The problem with bases in Palworld is that they’re small.

You have a lot of needs that you need to meet just to keep everyone happy and sane.

Food needs to be grown, you need basic resources, and you need more advanced resources.

That doesn’t even go into all the production benches you need, too.

It’s a tight area if you don’t plan ahead.

By making different bases, you can better organize which base does what.

One base might be designed for your ore, for example.

All mining ore takes place there.

Another might be your production and farm base.

Because each base has a specific purpose, you’re able to better manage and keep it all under control.

2. Base Areas are Small

As mentioned earlier, a base area is small.

You can do some pretty cool things with the small area, but you’re not unlimited when it comes to space.

By splitting up your workload between different bases, you’re able to free up certain areas of each base.

That allows you to become more decorative with your building.

3. Work Priority

The problem with Pals is that they want to help too much.

They become overwhelmed when they have a lot of tasks to complete.

In fact, they become so overwhelmed, that they end up not completing any of them.

They just run to one area, do a little, and then run to the next without completing the job.

By splitting up your workload between bases, you’re able to make the jobs your Pals very specific and deliberate.

Since they’re not doing quite so much, they can do the few jobs they have extremely well.

4. Easier Navigation of the Map

Bases allow you to fast travel across the map.

Why not put that to use?

You can find a good place for ore, example, that also allows you to easily fast travel to distant part of the map.

That can make exploration in that area a bit easier.

Use multiple bases as a means of making your navigation faster and more efficient.
