Lamball is a special Pal as it’s often the first one you catch in Palworld.

Some players may make the mistake of doing away with Lamball, however, since it’s typically just a starter Pal.

In this survival guide, we’ll dig into everything Lamball in Palworld.

The Quick Menu

Here’s a quick look at some main highlights about Lamball in Palworld.

Who is Lamball

Lamball is best described as a sheep with some pretty pointy horns.

It’s a chill Pal as far as Pals are concerned.

It typically won’t run away from you unless you hit it.

Much like sheep, it lacks in intelligence.

It tends to roll down hills and when it does decide to attack, if it uses its roll attack, it will spend a few moments completely dizzy.

It’s literally at the bottom of the food chain.

That said, it does make a great starter worker.

Take a look at its working stats:

  • Handiwork: 1
  • Transporting: 1
  • Farming: 1

Lamball can take care of a lot of roles right at the beginning.

It’ll help you get your base started efficiently.

What Does Lamball Drop

Whether you defeat Lamball in battle or capture it, you’ll get two possible items.

It drops wool and Lamball mutton.

Mutton can be a great early-game food for you and your Pals.

It’s certainly a step above berries.

Wool is also an important resource since you need it to make cloth.

So, whether you capture or defeat Lamball, you’ll find its drops useful.

Where Can You Find Lamball

Lamball is a pretty common spawn.

You’ll encounter it mostly in the starter regions throughout the map.

However, you can also find higher level Lamballs in the Bamboo forest and surrounding area.

They tend to spawn frequently, so it’s uncommon not to find one waddling around.

What is Lamball’s Partner Skill

Lamball’s partner skill is rather unfortunate.

It’s called Fluffy Shield, and like its name might suggest, you can use Lamball as a shield.

You simply hold it up, and it takes damage instead of you.

That makes Lamball pretty useful if you don’t have a shield of your own just yet.

That said, Lamball looks pretty sad whenever you use it in this way, so it’s up to you whether you want to use it as a shield or not.

What Can You Use Lamball For

Lamball has several utilities.

In combat, you can use it as a shield to defend yourself.

It’s also a great starter Pal.

With its work stats, it can take care of most of the beginning tasks you’ll have at your base.

Although most might move on from Lamball eventually, you might want to consider assigning it to the ranch.

It can drop wool passively if assigned there, which means you’ll have plenty of wool to make cloth.

Going after Lamball is also a great way to level yourself up fast at the beginning of the game.

Since it’s an easy Pal to catch, you can earn a few levels through going after it alone.

How To Breed Lamball

Now, while Lamball is very easy to catch, you may want to breed one.

It’s good practice to see how the breeding process works, anyway.

Here are all the possible breeding combinations to make Lamball:

  • Mau + Cattiva
  • Mau + Vixy
  • Mau + Cremis
  • Mau Cryst + Teafant
  • Mau Cryst + Chikipi
  • Lifmunk + Chikipi
  • Teafant + Vixy
  • Teafant + Cremis
  • Lamball + Lamball
  • Lamball + Cattiva

So, if you want to try your hand at breeding, give the combinations above a go to get yourself a specific Lamball.
