To get your hands on the gristmill recipe, you’re going to need to find and pick up ironwood.

It’s a rare resource that requires you to either find it on pallets or to harvest it from trees with an enchanted axe.

The first time you pick up ironwood, the recipe for the gristmill will drop.

How To Make the Gristmill in Return to Moria

You’ll need the following resources to make the gristmill:

• 30 Ironwood
• 15 Stone

It’s pretty expensive in regard to ironwood since ironwood is such a rare resource.

You’ll need to chop down quite a few trees to get enough for the gristmill.

However, once you do have enough, access your building menu and craft it.

It’s a relatively large structure, so you may need to make some room for it.

They include:

You’ll need Khuzdul Oat to make milled oats and oat milk.
