To increase your inventory in Enshrouded, you’ll need to equip backpacks.

The Hunter is the NPC who will make the backpacks for you.

As you progress in the game, you can make bigger backpacks that allow you to carry more.

Just starting out, however, you can make the small backpack.

It requires the following resources:

  • 3 Torn Cloth
  • 4 Dried Fur
  • 5 String

If you don’t have dried fur yet, you’ll also need to talk to the Hunter.

Build the drying rack and start making some dried fur with salt.

We have a dried fur guide here to help you with the process.

Once you’ve made your small backpack, you need to equip it.

Go to your inventory and equip the backpack.

You’ll notice that 8 more slots have been added to your inventory.

In the future, you’ll also equip bigger backpacks from your inventory.

More slots will add to your inventory as a result.

At long last, you can stuff more items in your pockets during your adventures.
