Watering is an important part of keeping your base productive.

It covers both watering plantations and powering certain devices to make resources.

In this survival guide, we’ll show you three methods on how to make watering Pals more efficient in Palworld.

1. Build the Water Fountain

The water fountain is one of the best ways to make your Pals more efficient.

It can even make your Tier I Watering Pals faster.

To unlock the water fountain, you’ll need to reach level 23 and unlock it with two technology points.

To craft the water fountain, you’ll need the following resources:

  • 100 Ingots
  • 200 Stone
  • 20 Pal Fluids

It’s not a cheap structure, but as soon as you place it in your base, all Watering Pals will be able to do Watering tasks faster.

It’s a great way to make slow Pals faster and faster Pals even faster.

2. Better Watering Pals

The type of Pal you have performing your Watering tasks matter, too.

Pengullet and Teafant can start you out, but they’re only Tier I Waterers.

You need Pals with a higher Tier.

You should start by replacing them either with Penking or Gobfin.

Penking is great since he can do other tasks, too, and Gobfin is nice because it’s smaller than other Watering Pals.

Both are Tier II, so they’ll speed up the process.

When you’re ready to go for heavier hitters, you might want to try Azurobe or Elphidran Aqua.

They’re Tier III Pals although rather large.

I’d opt for Azurobe over Elphidran just because it’s a little smaller, which can make navigating around your base easier for it.

Now, the best Watering Pal you can get is Jormuntide.

It’s a Tier IV Waterer, so it will complete Watering tasks easy.

Have the water fountain in your base, and Jormuntide will be efficient as hell.

3. Find Pals with Ideal Work Skills

Certain Passive Skills can also boost your Pals.

The skills I suggest are the following:

  • Lucky (15% Work Speed and Attack)
  • Serious (20% Work Speed)
  • Artisan (50% Work Speed)
  • Swift (30% Movement Speed)

The reason I suggest boosting your Pals with movement speed is that it allows them to move faster.

If you have production buildings scattered throughout your base, it takes time for a Pal to get there.

The faster they move, the faster they’ll be able to start and finish the task.

The other skills are great for boosting a Pal’s work speed.

The faster they work, the more productive they are.

All these tips combined can give you some pretty impressive Watering Pals.
