You’ll find Frar’s chest in the Desolation region in Return to Moria.

To get to the Desolation, you’ll have to pass through the Upper Halls of Dwarrowdelf.

Head to the very back of the Desolation region where you’ll find Frar’s outpost.

His chest is on the second floor next to a broken forge.

To open Frar’s chest, you’re going to need his key.

Interact with the chest to get the recipe list for the key.

Then head to a standard forge and gather the following resources:

• 3 Khazad Steel Ingots

That’s all you need to craft his key.

Once you’ve crafted it, head back to the chest to open it.
