There are two main places to mine Sun-Stone.

The hardest, and the first, place you can search is the Darkest Deeps.

This region starts appearing in the Lower Deeps, but you may need to find the different chutes in the Desolation region of Dwarrowdelf to get to the Sun-Stone deposists.

Not every Darkest Deep mine chute has Sun-Stone, so you’ll want to make your trip efficient to see if it’s worth your time.

The Darkest Deep is an area where no light can protect you, so it’s only a matter of time before you fall into Despair.

There are also flame creatures that deal extremely high damage while having high health, themselves.

It’s best to avoid these creatures in most instances.

The Darkest Deeps will give you your first opportunity to mine Sun-Stone, but there’s another location where you can also mine it.

When the way opens, head to Barazinbar.

This area also spawns Sun-Stone.

You’ll know you’ve found the ore when you see something that typically looks like Precious Gems.

Sometimes it might have a rusty color over it, too.

Since Precious Gems and Sun-Stone can look similar, you’ll want to take out your pickaxe to determine which is which.

Sun-Stone is extremely rare, so take the time to mine it when you come across it.
